 The Fauna on Culebra
Birds, Iguanas, Goats, Horses and Culebra's beloved Roosters
Culebra is a bird watcher's paradise!
Iguanas can be found all over, but especially at Mamacita's ;)
There is a considerable amount of 'wild' goats on Luis Peņa and Cayo Norte. The rumors of poachers hunting them have not been substantiated by me.
The horses on Culebra are not likely to be eaten and are worthwhile watching on Three Kings Day at the 'Cabalgata de los Reyes'.
Now the roosters: If you stay in town and are a light sleeper, bring earplugs!
